You will not be able to carry the things from Spawn Island any further

The first time that you go to Spawn island, you will simply be boggled and awed because you will find a lot of coveted things just lying all around the island. Some of these include materials for building, ammunition, guns and many more such items. 

Any newbie in the game will try to pick up as many items as possible. However, this activity will be completely futile as you are not allowed to carry the items you pick up on Spawn Island. So make sure you do not run and grab for these freebies lying around on the island.

Keep waiting and don’t drop early from the Battle Bus

This is yet another thing that you must take care of. Normally, as soon as the horn of the Battle Bus goes off, players tend to drop from it. However, this is a classic rookie mistake that should be avoided at all costs. 

You must take up to three to five seconds after the honk, and then drop into the game. This is extremely crucial because if you drop at the moment the sound comes, then it is highly likely that you will be gunned down by the other players. So, wait till it all clears down and then make your landing.

Remember that the glider will automatically get deployed

Another important thing to keep in mind is that when you are dropping down from the battle bus, then you do not get the option to open the glider later. 

The glider automatically opens for all players at the same time, and you have no control over it. So, just be patient, and the glider will open on its own once you reach a certain height.

Always drink smaller portions of any drink, before trying the larger ones

In the map, you will find both big and small bottles, that provide you with the power of the shield. However, the catch here is that once you have at least 50 shields, then you will not be able to take in the small bottles. 

This way, your capacity to get shields gets limited. So make sure that you drink up all the small bottles before going for the larger ones.
